There was mayhem in Markham, Ontario on Saturday evening as Progressive Conservatives scratched their heads to figure out who had won their party’s leadership race.

Party president Jag Badwal announced the results seven hours later than they were originally scheduled, saying former Toronto city councillor Doug Ford had narrowly eked out a win over former provincial legislator Christine Elliott on the third ballot.
